FOUNDER’S MESSAGE

I have always nurtured a strong desire to work in the field of cows. This idea first took root in 1998 when I came across a book published by Gayatri Pariwar, authored by Pundit Shriram Sharma Acharya, affectionately known as Gurudev. The book highlighted how gaushalas or cow shelters play a pivotal role in the economy. Reading this book proved to be a profound source of inspiration and motivation for me, and it ignited a desire to contribute to society through the medium of cows. However, my parents had certain obligations for me to fulfill, which led me to prioritize my education and financial independence before I could pursue my passion.

Once I achieved financial stability, I recognized that the time had come to actively engage in this field. My concern over the prevalent issues of cow smuggling and slaughtering further fueled my determination to make a positive impact. The society, especially in rural areas, grapples with numerous perils such as unemployment, poverty, and health challenges. Cows possess untapped potential to address these societal issues, and my wife and I felt compelled to give back to society by working in this domain.

We firmly believe that cows are the most valuable animals on our planet. They offer solutions to various human problems, including self-reliance, health, and adherence to dharma. Our Indian Desi cows play a multifaceted role in human life. From fertilizers to medicines, we currently rely heavily on imports from foreign nations, when we could be self-sufficient by utilizing cow dung and urine. With some assistance from others, we can safeguard our sacred Gaumata (Mother Cow) and create a lasting legacy for future generations.

From the very outset, my passion has always been directed towards working for the betterment of society, with a particular focus on women empowerment. As a research scholar at VNIT, Nagpur, I had the opportunity to delve into various aspects of entrepreneurship, which I successfully applied in our business. The core objective of our work is to generate employment for women and provide them with sustainable livelihoods, especially during challenging times. This social cause is centered around protecting our beloved Gaumata.

Our involvement in the field of Gomay services has a profound impact on society. It ranges from safeguarding indigenous cows to uplifting the community by creating employment opportunities, particularly for rural women. Moreover, we contribute to the economy by supporting businesses in this domain, fostering growth, and promoting innovation. We firmly believe that this area of work offers boundless opportunities and yields limitless gains

THE SUCCESS STORY OF gaumatram ANUSANDHAN KENDR-NAGPUR

When executed properly, social entrepreneurship can prove to be economically feasible and, above all, sustainable, and Gaumatram exemplifies this principle. Mr. Jeetendra Bhakane, the visionary behind Gaumatram, holds impressive qualifications as a Textile Engineer and an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Despite his high qualifications, he has chosen to devote himself to serving a gaushala in a village. His unwavering dedication lies in the realm of safeguarding and nurturing the Indian breed of cows.

After achieving financial stability, he recognized the need to become actively involved in this field. Moreover, for an extended period, he had been concerned about the widespread issue of cow smuggling and slaughtering in our country.
Right from the outset, their aspirations and strategies were centered around making a positive impact on society, particularly in the domain of cow production. This goal held significant importance for them, considering the multitude of challenges the society faces, such as unemployment, poverty, and health issues, especially in rural regions. Recognizing the untapped potential of cows to address these social problems, they were inspired to take action in this field and contribute meaningfully to society.
